Powerful Industrial Axial Fans for High-Volume Ventilation

Industrial Axial Fan Overview

AirPro’s industrial axial fans are engineered for reliable, high-volume airflow in industrial ventilation and process air applications. Designed to move large volumes of air at low to moderate static pressures, they are well suited for general ventilation, cooling, exhaust, and air exchange.

With a compact, inline design, axial fans support efficient air movement where space, airflow volume, and system simplicity are important. Their configuration makes them a practical fit for applications that require large air volumes with lower pressure demands.

Selecting the right axial fan depends on airflow, static pressure, operating environment, installation constraints, and performance goals. AirPro’s application engineers can help identify the best solution for your system, with heavy-duty industrial construction built for dependable performance in demanding conditions.

Industrial Axial Fan Performance & Design

  • Volume: up to 250,000 cfm
  • Pressure: up to 12”wg
  • Temperature: 100°F standard (up to 150°F with factory approval)
  • Static Efficiency: 65.4%
  • Drive: Belt and direct

AirPro designs and builds both standard and custom industrial fans with an unsurpassed level of quality and service. All of our products are also backed by our industry-leading 3-year warranty.

Axial Fan Types

AB7E

Axial, Belt-Drive, 7-Blades, E-Hub

Pairs belt drive flexibility with the E hub’s larger blade-to-housing ratio. The E hub’s greater blade exposure allows it to process slightly more volume for a given size and speed, making it a strong choice when maximum airflow capacity is a priority.

Belt drive allows motor placement outside the airstream, which is advantageous for elevated temperature applications (up to 150°F with factory consult).

  • Arrangement 4; E hub for higher airflow capacity
  • 26,500 fpm max tip speed

AB7K

Axial, Belt-Drive, 7-Blades, K-Hub

Combines belt drive with the K hub configuration. The K hub’s larger hub diameter relative to housing means less blade length, but allows a higher tip speed making this model suited for applications where rotational speed is critical to meeting performance targets.

The K hub carries slightly more mass than the E for a given frame size.

  • Arrangement 9; K hub for higher tip speed
  • 28,500 fpm max tip speed

AD7E

Axial, Direct-Drive, 7-Blades, E-Hub

Delivers direct drive simplicity with the E hub configuration in a compact, low-maintenance design.

With no belts, drive components, or intermediate shaft to maintain, the motor resides within the airstream, making it a strong choice for clean-air applications at standard temperatures (up to 100°F).

  • Arrangement 4; E hub for higher airflow capacity
  • 26,500 fpm max tip spped

AD7K

Axial, Direct-Drive, 7-Blades, K-Hub

Delivers direct drive simplicity with the higher tip speed capability of the K hub. For applications where a more compact unit without belt maintenance is desired and the K hub’s speed advantage is beneficial, it provides an efficient, low-maintenance solution.

As with all Arrangement 4 models, air-cooled motor treatment is standard to protect motor longevity in the airstream.

  • Arrangement 4; K hub designed for higher tip speed
  • 28,500 fpm max tip speed
