Quality Assurance & Control

AirPro // Features

Standards, Testing, and Documentation You Can Trust

Quality assurance and positive material identification are not optional at AirPro. They are essential safeguards that protect performance, reliability, and safety in demanding industrial service.

For OEMs, that means fewer variables when you specify our fans and blowers into your systems. For end users, it means equipment built to run as expected and supported by documented, repeatable processes.

We do not rely on assumptions or one-time checks. Our quality approach is built into every stage of design and manufacturing and verified against recognized standards, from design validation and revision control to welding oversight, balancing, and final verification.

  • Tested and rated to AMCA standards to verify performance and ensure consistent product expectations.
  • Engineered with SolidWorks, DriveWorks, and PDM to support FEA and CFD analysis, standardization, and tight revision control.
  • Welded to AWS parameters by qualified fabricators, with oversight from in-house Certified Weld Inspectors (CWI).
  • Balanced to ISO standards for rotating machinery to support smooth operation and long service life.
  • Backed by an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system to keep quality consistent day after day.

Proven Manufacturing Process For Quality Assurance

Quality assurance begins long before final assembly. Throughout the manufacturing process, AirPro applies documented procedures to support material traceability, fabrication accuracy, and consistent execution. Our manufacturing quality assurance process includes:

Material Identification & Traceability

Throughout the manufacturing process to help ensure materials and properties are consistent with order requirements for centrifugal fans and blowers.

Mill Test Reports (MTRs)

Maintained for material grades above A36 to support positive material identification, traceability, and verification of steel quality.

Scheduled Calibration & Maintenance

For tools and equipment to support precision and accuracy.

Fabrication to AWS Standards

As well as AirPro’s in-house Weld Process Standards (WPS) for all metal.

Dedicated In-House Project Management

To help guide each project throughout the entire order cycle.

Inspection

Quality Control Inspections Throughout Production

We conduct inspections to ensure that each AirPro fan not only complies with the customer’s requirements, but that it also maintains AirPro’s high standard of quality control. These inspections take place throughout the manufacturing process, which includes these essential steps:

  • Order entry
  • Release of design to manufacturing
  • Material receiving and preparation
  • Material kitting and labeling
  • Fabrication and welding
  • Paint, coating and surface preparation
  • Final assembly
  • Balance and vibration analysis
  • Final inspection before shipping
  • QC documentation provided to the customer

Quality You Can Track

Our quality process is built not only around workmanship, but also around documentation and accountability. By maintaining traceability, inspection records, and customer-facing QC documentation, AirPro helps provide confidence in both the manufacturing process and the finished product.

As a 100% employee-owned company, AirPro Fan & Blower takes its mission and promises seriously. When we say we guarantee superior quality, that commitment extends across the organization. Accountability is built into our process and reflected in everything we do for our customers.

Reliable fan performance is the result of disciplined manufacturing, material traceability, documented procedures, and inspection throughout the production process.
