On-Time Delivery Average 95 Percent

You Count On It, We Count On It

There are many moving parts that need to come together in an industrial application and operation, both literally and figuratively. The fan is a big one, and we know how important it is to have it there and ready when you plan to install it. On-time delivery is so important to you that we have made each and every department in our company accountable for our goal of on-time delivery averages of 95% or better. We closed out 2020, our second full-year with the 95% goal and our first full year with 12 consecutive months above 95%, with an annual on-time delivery rate average of 97.81%.

For a long time, we were consistent with industry averages for on-time delivery at around 80 percent. A few years ago, our leadership decided that it wasn’t good enough. With determined internal champions and the innovative spirit of our employee-owners, we re-engineered our metrics and our process to be as close to perfect as humanly possible.

We are both serious about this commitment and proud of our track record of success in meeting it.   So serious and so proud, that we are putting it here for you to see. Good, bad or indifferent, we will update this chart monthly to show you how we’ve done over the most recent 12 months. Here’s where we are for the past 12 months:

Transparency, Communications, and Commitment

On-time really does mean on-time; it doesn’t matter HOW late it is or whether or not we know in advance we’re going to miss the target. We don’t revise the internal due date when we see a miss coming. If we miss our original date, it’s late. Period. There is no blame game here – we own it every day.

Although our internal process is tied firmly to the original delivery date, that doesn’t mean we try to sneak it past you if we’re held up for some reason. Communication with our customers is an essential part of the transparency and accuracy we insist on delivering. That’s true for all the times we’re on time, when we’re ready early, and if we’re going to be late.

We take on-time delivery, transparent communications, and customer commitments so seriously that our sense of ownership extends beyond the company to every customer promise and interaction. We have many examples of going above and beyond, but the bottom line is that we have cracked the code on reliable, consistent on-time delivery.

More Ways We’re Different

We don’t change our commitment to you based on “regular” on-time delivery, it applies to each step that leads to it, as well as the occasional expedited delivery for those urgent situations that require it. There are a number of ways we stand out in our industry, all wrapped around one thing: our customers. We’ve adapted our process to enable:
