Attending the Panel & Engineered Lumber International Conference & Expo (PELICE) and the Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo (Bioenergy)

It’s so great to get back out there to engage directly with the industries we serve and support. After our recent productive showing at the International Biomass Conference & Expo, we’re ready for more. Now we’re headed to Atlanta to engage with the engineered wood products industry at two consecutive conferences: the Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo (Bioenergy) March 29-30, and the Panel & Engineered Lumber International Conference & Expo (PELICE) March 31 – April 1, 2022. Both events are supported by Wood Bioenergy and Panel World magazines, and Georgia Research Institute.

6th Annual Bioenergy Conference & the Engineered Wood Products Industry

Industry sectors attending the Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo include industrial wood pellet, biomass power, biofuels, and in-woods chipping sectors. WBCE covers all phases of wood energy production, from wood harvesting to electricity generation. With the worldwide emphasis on renewable energy production and the potential for helping many countries meet clean air goals for a healthier environment, wood-based energy is a major topic of conversation in the wood products industry and beyond.

8th Annual PELICE & the Engineered Wood Products Industry

PELICE draws attendees from engineered wood products industry sectors including plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), medium-density fiberboard (MDF), particleboard, and mass timber. Speakers, exhibitors, and attendees will be talking about a broad range of topics from new technologies for measurement, monitoring, and manufacturing, to trends in global supply and demand, construction, and quality innovations. We’re looking forward to joining the conversation.

Industrial Fan Applications Supporting the Engineered Wood Products and Bioenergy Industries

These major process manufacturing industries require reliable, high-quality industrial fans to keep their operations moving and their emissions compliant with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Air Act. Across our many engineered wood products industry and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers, we support a wide variety of applications. Here are some of the most common:

Material Handling Fans

Material handling fans convey air and particles through an industrial manufacturing system. In engineered wood products operations, that includes sawdust, wood chips, etc.. The fan needs to be heavy-duty and abrasion-resistant to hold up under the constant wear of the materials.

Cyclone Separator Fans

Cyclone separator fans are part of the air filtration system in process manufacturing operations and specialize in abrasive heavy-material-laden air. They separate heavier particulates out of the airstream into other processes like dust collection, oxidizers, or exhaust.

Oxidizer Fans

Thermal oxidizers, including regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTOs), provide air pollution control. They use industrial fans to force or draw process air through a series of chambers, turning hazardous bypass gases into water vapor before releasing the emissions into the environment.

Dust Collector Fans

Dust collector fans convey the air and particulates through the dust collection system to remove nuisance or process dust from the industrial airflow to improve the quality and safety of the air in the engineered wood products industry system.

Rotary Dryer

The rotary dryer removes moisture in the production process of various engineered wood products, biofuels, and other products. It requires a combustion fan for heat, a supply blower to pick up the heat from the combustion process, and an exhaust fan.

It’s Not Too Late to Join Us at the Bioenergy Show and PELICE

If you’re in the engineered wood products and/or bioenergy industry or if you’re an OEM that serves them, it’s not too late. Although online registration is closed for both shows, walk-up registrations are allowed.

Come on out and look for our booth in the expo hall in the Grand Ballroom North of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta. President and Founder Keith White and sales rep David Towle would love to see you!
