Custom Induced Draft Fan

The custom, induced draft fan we designed for a wood industry dust collector application uses a radial tipped blade profile with a custom base design. It includes an outlet damper for flow control, pie-split housing for easier maintenance access, and a 100HP V-drive motor. The heavy-duty fan resists particle build-up and delivers high efficiency in this high-volume application.

Wood industry processing systems require dust collection to handle the excessive wood particles produced through sawing, cutting, grinding, sanding, planing, etc. for safe breathing and smooth operations. Because of the highly combustible and abrasive nature of the wood particles, this dust collector system fan also requires special coatings to protect it from corrosion, sparks, fire, and explosions.
